Cancellation Policy

Effective for bookings made on or after July 4, 2025.
This policy applies to land and sea excursions and outdoor activities booked with Xanda Tours & Rentals.

Any individual (“You”) who books or makes a booking request with Xanda Tours & Rentals agrees to the following terms and conditions regarding cancellations, refunds, and date changes.

How to Cancel or Reschedule a Booking

You may cancel or reschedule:

General Terms and Conditions

While we strive to provide exceptional service, Xanda Tours & Rentals shall not be held liable for illness, injury, loss, delay, or failure to participate in a tour or rental due to events beyond our control.

We strongly recommend that all guests carry appropriate travel insurance.

We reserve the right to:

  • Modify routes, itineraries, prices, inclusions, or operating days

  • Cancel tours due to unforeseen circumstances

  • Partner with accredited third-party operators for certain tours

Cancellation Policy

  • More than 7 days before departure: Full refund

  • Within 7 days of departure: 50% cancellation fee

  • Within 48 hours of departure, or no-show: 100% of the fare is forfeited

Change of Date Policy

We will do our best to accommodate date change requests made at least 24 hours in advance, subject to availability.

Requests made with less than 24 hours' notice may incur a change fee in line with the cancellation fee structure.

Unforeseeable Events

You may be eligible for a full refund if you are unable to participate due to an Unforeseeable Event occurring after your booking. Determination is at the discretion of Xanda Tours & Rentals.

Examples of Unforeseeable Events include:

  • Government-imposed travel restrictions

  • Epidemics, civil unrest, war, strikes, or natural disasters

  • A cruise ship unable to dock for a scheduled shore excursion

  • Flight cancellations with no alternative travel options

  • An official “Do Not Travel” advisory from the Government of Trinidad and Tobago issued after booking

The following are not considered Unforeseeable Events:

  • Personal illness or injury

  • Poor weather

  • Changes in travel plans

  • Oversleeping or missed transportation

We may require supporting documentation to verify your eligibility for a refund under this provision. You may contact us in advance to confirm whether your situation qualifies as an Unforeseeable Event.
